2025 Aarón García Ruiz Concert Classical Guitar

Aarón García Ruíz is a Granada luthier and musicologist whose classical guitars follow the tradition of the Granada school, from Antonio Torres through makers such as Manuel de la Chica, Isidro Garrido and Manuel Fernández. His work combines traditional Spanish guitar making with considered experiments in soundboard design.

This 2025 concert model pairs an aged German spruce top with Madasgasar rosewood back and sides and a lattice-braced soundboard. The construction brings a contemporary approach to projection and responsiveness within a guitar grounded in the Spanish classical tradition. Its voice is best heard in the instrument itself, rather than inferred from the wood alone.
