The shop draws inspiration from the lifelong work of James B. Greenberg, a guitarist, collector, restorer, and longtime professor at the University of Arizona. His connection to classical and flamenco guitar began in 1961 and expanded over decades through performance, restoration work, collecting, and the study of historic and contemporary instruments.
Over the years, James developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship, history, and individuality of fine guitars. That experience helped shape the philosophy behind Los Guitarerros, focused on careful curation, honest representation, and respect for traditional guitar making.
Today, Los Guitarerros continues to serve musicians, collectors, and students throughout the Netherlands and Europe with a focus on high-quality classical and flamenco guitars, including both new and pre-owned instruments.
Our approach remains rooted in experience, tradition, and a long-standing passion for the classical guitar world.
